I would like to eat and cook healthy but I think I will learn how to cook first and then worry about if it's healthy or not (and I do realize that what is on this specific post is not actually cooking... baby steps.) I saw a recipe on Pinterest and thought it looked yummy, I never actually looked at the recipe just saw what it was and thought it was too easy. All you need is a can of crescent rolls, cinnamon, sugar and melted butter.
I laid the crescent rolls out and twisted them instead of rolling them. You really could do it however your little heart desired.
Then I rolled my 'twist' in the melted butter and then in the cinnamon/sugar mixture and baked it for however long the directions on the crescent rolls said. The outcome was...
Yummy! The only thing I wasn't sure about what how sweet they were... I wasn't sure if they should be breakfast or dessert. The next time I make them I will not do the melted butter so that there won't be so much sugar and cinnamon.
I tried it with biscuits a couple days later (and no butter) and it was pretty good. Just baked the biscuits like normal but rubbed them in cinnamon and sugar first and they were awesome!
I think I've done this before, but I'm not sure. Sounds yummy though! Have you tried putting chocolate chips in the crescent rolls before you roll them? That's supposed to be tasty too. Without cinnamon and sugar though. :)
