Bleached out shirts

This weekend Jade got home from being gone for a week and we had the perfect lazy Sunday. I finally tried a project that I found on Ashley Ann. I changed a couple different things, I used a spray bottle of bleach instead of a water gun and painters tape instead of freezer paper.

The only thing that didn't work with the painters tape is that it got too saturated with the bleached and soaked through, it didn't make a clean W. He thinks it looks like a bat so we're still good.

Max's turned out awesome but he wouldn't stay still long enough to get a good picture.

After the safe activity of bleach in a spray bottle, they relaxed with a little Finding Nemo...

On a separate note I am throwing my dear friend Aubrey her 30th birthday party this coming weekend and we started working on the cutest decorations ever! I never new crepe paper could be so much fun. Here is a sneak peek...

Extremely Amateur Photography

I have a semi-fancy camera and am trying to teach myself how to use it and how to make the cool looking pictures that I see everyone else has. Just thought I would share a few of my favorites... it's a random mix :)

I hate my face in this one but it's too cute of a picture

I couldn't resist this one

Guess who made me take this one

Last week I attempted to make Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza quick bread. It is actually classified as an appetizer but add a big salad and it would make an awesome meal! Problem #1 was that I didn't have a bread pan so I decided to use a cupcake pan and make them little cheesy pepperoni pizza muffins! Problem #2 was for some reason you are supposed to put pizza sauce in with the bread dough. As it was baking the outside got brown and looked like it was about done, I split one open and the inside was still super moist because of the pizza sauce... but if it would have baked longer the outside would burn...sigh. This is what the disaster ended up looking like...
But Will said that he liked it, but only ate a couple bites before he changed his mind...
I made the boys some good old quesadillas and Jade made himself this gorgeous salad effortlessly in about 30 seconds...

I redeemed myself by doing the one thing that I'm good at, baking cookies! Oreo Cheesecake Cookies! The dough is without a doubt better than the cookie, I did end up having to tweak the recipe a little but they were still absolutely delicious!
